I will stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I will damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
